It consists of an outer gear of a hub with crowning that meshes with an inner gear of a sleeve, and features two coupling mechanisms that adjust the misalignment through surface sliding, enabling shaft alignment and torque transmission. The structural misalignment allows for angles from 1 degree to 6 degrees. The characteristics of the gear coupling include being compact, having a large transmission capacity, and high reliability as a coupling. Greasing and maintenance are required.
